Formulated specially for rubber gaskets, it conditions gaskets for longer life and seals potential leak paths. It also functions to hold gaskets in place during installation. The non-hardening, soft-setting formula makes gasket repositioning quick and easy. Provides outstanding oil and fluid resistance. Temperature range -54°C to 204°C.
Permatex Ultra Rubber Gasket Sealant & Dressing is formulated specially for rubber gaskets, conditioning them for longer life and sealing potential leak paths.
Pierce top of tube with back of cap and apply a thin even coat of Ultra Rubber Gasket Sealant & Dressing to all sides of gasket. Allow to air dry until it becomes somewhat “tacky”.
Align gasket, press into place and assemble.
Tighten to specified torque values.
